Inspired by the natural and cultural fabric of Antakya's countryside, this village house is shaped by a holistic design approach that brings contemporary living needs together with local architectural references. The strong relationship established between open, semi-open and enclosed spaces allows users to make the most efficient use of climatic conditions while letting daily life spill out into the outdoor spaces; wide terraces, shaded seating areas and landscape-integrated use scenarios create a spatial continuity that supports social life. Timber separators and permeable sun-breaking elements meet the need for privacy while directing light, shadow and airflow in a controlled manner; stone textures, natural materials and a simple massing bring a contemporary interpretation to the region's traditional architectural memory.
