Furmet

Located in Adana's Seyhan district, Furmet addresses a management and office building added to an existing factory campus together with its landscape design in a holistic approach. The core aim of the design is to create a new focal point that strengthens the employee experience within the industrial campus and makes the corporate identity visible. Set against the powerful scale of the existing production volumes, the office building is shaped through transparency, daylight and the use of open space. Double-height glass surfaces strengthen the relationship between interior and exterior, while terraces positioned at different levels of the building offer employees alternative spaces integrated with the open air; wide eaves and a strong relationship with landscape soften the harsh character of the industrial surroundings.
