Residential
Villa Güzelyalı
Located in Adana's Çukurova district, the project is conceived as a boutique settlement of ten villas. The design brings together climatic data and contemporary living habits, creating a strong architectural silhouette while making daylight one of the fundamental components of everyday life. The staggered pitched-roof system, handled at different levels across the settlement, defines its character; varying ridge heights lighten the massing of the buildings and form a dynamic silhouette throughout the site. Vertically proportioned wide openings and tall windows allow daylight to penetrate the interiors in a controlled way, while roof terraces at the upper levels offer semi-private outdoor experiences with a direct relationship to the sky. A facade language shaped by natural-textured surfaces, vertical timber elements, deep eaves and transparent balustrade details softens the transition between the building and the landscape.
